Presented by Latina Style Magazine, the nation’s leading publication for Latina entrepreneurs, in partnership with Bank of America and AARP, the highly-promoted celebration brings to the forefront the contributions of Hispanic women from South Florida.
Guests enjoyed a complimentary “mojito” upon arrival, healthy hors d’oerves by Miami Cancer Institute, a fun photo booth and silent auction with fabulous trips, jewelry and great fun-filled baskets.
The annual parade of Past Honorees opened the luncheon in the elegantly decorated ballroom of coordinated colors of yellow and turquoise from tables to gift bags and plaques. A runway fashion show presented by Zola Keller of Las Olas simply brought the house down.
The presentation of the Latina Pioneer of the Year, and the 12 Hispanic Women of Distinction ended the program, with all ladies walking a 170 foot runway.
Elaine Vasquez, producer of the luncheon stated “this was by far the largest celebration of Hispanic women entrepreneurs and community leaders since its inception.”
