The Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
The City of Miramar Fire-Rescue Department Division of Emergency Management is holding a FREE 8 week Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T) course at Fire-Rescue Station 84 located at 14801 SW 27 Street, Miramar, FL 33027.
Classes will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm beginning on October 4, 2017.
Class size is limited, so please register via email at fdem@miramarfd.org (please provide your full name, phone number and email address) or call (954) 602-4883. This class is for NEW participantswho have not taken the course before. Please note, a background check will be required to participate.

All courses will take place at the Miramar Fire Rescue Station 84 located at 14801 S.W. 27 Street, Miramar, FL 33027 in the 1st Floor Training Room (drive through the gates and park in the rear of the station). Classes will begin at 6:30pm and end at 9:30pm.
