LAUDERHILL—All children deserve to live in communities where they are safe, nurtured, healthy and happy. The Children’s Services Council of Broward County (CSC) powers the Broward AWARE! Protecting OUR Children campaign, a four-month public awareness effort that ensures families, providers, media and other stakeholders receive and share resources that help prevent child abuse and neglect.

The 2017 Campaign will culminate with a Family Fun and Resource Fair at the Rev. Samuel Delevoe Park, 2520 NW 6th St. Fort Lauderdale FL 33311 from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Featuring community favorite Rodney Baltimore of Hot 105 emceeing and DJ Hercules of 99JAMZ, the event will also include free food, entertainment and resources from more than 40 service providers. Raffle prizes include passes to Universal Studios, bikes, toys, books and more. Bikers Against Child Abuse will provide children and adults opportunities to ride motorcycles and sport temporary tattoos and bandannas. A youth zone will provide participants opportunities to discuss issues related to teen dating safety and tips for preparing for the future.
