Racial Equity and Social Justice Cadre RFQ
The Children’s Services Council of Broward County (CSC) announces a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to support the formation of a Racial Equity and Social Justice Cadre of experts. Cadre members would serve to provide technical assistance, professional, organizational, and community development, and training in theories and practices related to racial equity, social justice, implicit bias, and cultural responsiveness to child and family serving nonprofit organizations in Broward County.
Respite 2021 RFP
The CSC is expecting to budget approximately $260,000 in FY 21/22 for the Respite 2021 Request for Proposals (RFP). The intent of this RFP is to expand the availability of programs intended to offer out-of-home respite services for the caregiver of a child 5-13 years of age who exhibits behavioral health challenges that severely disrupt daily functioning in their home, school, or community.

Family Resource Guide
Article Submission Request
Dear Community Partner,
Every year, the Children’s Services Council of Broward County produces a Family Resource Guide. We will soon begin production of the 2021-22 edition. The Guide includes a full listing of agencies and organizations that serve children and families in Broward, important information from the School Board of Broward County, informative articles on child safety, education, and development, and a full listing, by zip code, of child care centers and the services they offer, produced in four languages.
Over 175,000 hard copies are distributed county-wide through schools, pediatric offices, markets, child-serving organizations, and at community events. The Guide is also featured online with articles shared with other local publications. If you would like to contribute an article on subjects related to Family Life, Health & Safety, Child Development, or Child Care, we invite you to submit a manuscript to the following specifications:
A. 700-800 words
B. It must be “generic” to the subject, i.e., not an advertorial for any organization
C. It must include a byline, with the author’s qualifications
D. As an epilogue, we are happy to include information specific to the author’s agency or organization.
