English Teacher Borned in Argentina. I want share some of my friends favorite dishes.
It was always summer time during the holidays in Buenos Aires so we enjoyed some of our
meals outside with the whole family on the 24th and on the 25th in different houses.
One of the most popular dishes was the Pionono (Argentinian Roll Cake). A special thin sweet dough filled with Tuna or egg, or ham, cheese, and some lettuce with a lot of mayonnaise. This is a homemade delicacy.
Another delicious dish is “Vitel Toné”. It is made with cooked and sliced cold veal with onions, carrots, and other vegetables covered with a creamy mayonnaise sauce. Some people make it with tuna and Anchovies.
Other dish is sliced oven glaced pork. People enjoy the sweet taste of the pork.
We take pride of our favorite dessert. It is our special fruit sa-
lad made with peaches, oranges, and strawberries. We add port wine, and right before serving we add fresh bananas.
