Show Educators the Appreciation They Deserve …
The Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce of The United States and Sylvan Learning Center invite school districts, charter schools, professional organizations, and private schools from Miami-Dade and Broward County to participate in the “Andrés Bello” Teacher Appreciation Award and take teacher appreciation to the next level. Nominate an excellent Hispanic-American educator you know for this public recognition. The award is presented annually to Pre-K to College educators in five categories: Pre-School, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College. It’s goal is to support, encourage, and bring deserved recognition to all Hispanic-American educators.
The program results in the annual selection of five teachers who demonstrate sustained commitment to improving mutual understanding between Americans and Hispanics have made significant contributions to enhancing students’ knowledge of Latin-America and Spain.
The award is open to any Hispanic-American certified teachers (active or retired) with at least three years of experience teaching in grades pre-K to 12 and college at a public or non-public school or college in Broward County and Miami-Dade County, Florida.
