ESOL parent Ambassador program is an initiative shared between Esol parents and the ESOL Department of Broward County.
We were born with the idea of transferring the knowledge we got during the process of settling in this community and thus alleviate the large uncertainties that Esol student families may have towards the American educational system, as well as of its role of inhabitant of their community.
Thanks to our volunteer program we contribute with school district encouraging the Esol parents to get involved in their child’s education for their rapid insertion.
Helping immigrant families, not proficient in the English language, in the process of adaptation and transition within the Broward County public schools and the community, drives their
interest in being engage and informed so that they achieve the confidence and tranquility that contribute with the success of their children.
Our Mission
Helping immigrants families, not proficient in the English language, in the process of adaptation and transition within the Broward County public schools and their community.
Driving its interest to be engage and informed is the road to achieve the confidence and tranquility to contribute with their children’s success, and their American dream.
Our goal
It is to have each day more ESOL parents interested and involved in their child’s education, aware and informed of every relevant aspect at each level of education.
