Broward County Library’s Conference on Children’s Literature is on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 9 am – 5 pm at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33311.

The 2024 Conference is free to attend and open to educators of all kinds—librarians, teachers, and parents. It will provide professional development, research, and innovation in children’s literature, support networking and collaboration, and contribute to a national dialogue. Please register—a complimentary light lunch is included, and you may win signed copies of some of the featured titles!

What: “Introducing ‘Friendship Sparks’, a fresh initiative presented by The Friendship Journey. Participants will engage in a unique speed friendship event, where they can put their conversational skills to the test and create meaningful connections.”
